VASTGOOD PROPERTIES, LLC, founded in June 2011, as successor to real estate ownership and management companies dating back to 1978, is engaged in ownership, development and management of primarily supermarket-anchored retail properties, focused in the Mid-Atlantic states. It presently partners with certain institutional and private investors in the acquisition of both "core" and "value add" retail properties, for which it provides physical property management, leasing, construction management and financial reporting functions. The Company's principal office is in Port Washington, New York where it maintains all budgeting, internal auditing, financial reporting, oversight, leasing and administration functions. The Company also maintains a regional office in the greater Harrisburg/Carlisle/Lancaster area from which it provides facilities and operations management.  

President - Mr. Ullman, a retired member of the New York Bar, practiced law for some 35 years with three major international law firms, and ultimately founded his own firm, all in New York. While still practicing law, Mr. Ullman formed a real estate management company in 1978 to source and manage a large number of various U.S. real estate investments as a fiduciary for primarily private foreign investors. In 1998, Mr. Ullman, through a friendly tender offer, acquired control of a small real estate investment trust and started growing the Company with primarily supermarket-anchored shopping centers in mid-Atlantic and Northeast coastal states. In 2003, the Company, Cedar Realty Trust, had an initial public offering and listing on the New York Stock Exchange for approximately $178 million with Merrill Lynch as lead underwriter.  Under Ullman's guidance, Cedar grew from its $13.5 million beginnings to approximately $1.7 billion in assets in less than 5 years. In 2005, he was named Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young for the Real Estate/Hospitality Area. Mr. Ullman retired as Chairman, CEO and President of Cedar in June 2011 and founded Vastgood Properties, LLC at that time. Mr. Ullman was born in the Netherlands and came to the U.S. at age 8-1/2. He is a graduate of Harvard College (A.B. 1961) and both Columbia Business School (M.B.A. 1964) and Columbia Law School (J.D. 1964).   Mr. Ullman served in the U.S. Marine Corps and Marine Corps Reserves (1959 – 1965).
